FAILURE ....The First Step Towards SUCCESS!!!!

Failure is the highway to success.
Tom Watson said" If you want to succeed, double your failure rates."
If we study history, we will find that all stories of great success are also the stories of great failures.
But the common people don't see failures. they only see one face of the coin. to our dismay, its not always the same it appears to be. Its much beyond that. In this world there are many great personalities who inspite of the rejections they faced, achieved their goals. This was because of their constant efforts, determination and optimistic attitude.
There was a man who failed in business at the age of 21 ; was defeated in a legislative race at the age of 22 ; failed again in business at the age of 24 ; overcame the death of his sweetheart at the age of 26; had a nervous breakdown at the age of 27 ; lost a congressional race at the age of 34 ; lost a senatorial race at the age of 45 ; failed in an effort to become vice president at 47 ; again lost a senatorial race at the age of  49 and finally despite all odds was elected the president of USA at 52. This man was 'ABRAHAM LINCOLN'. Do we call him a looser? He could have quit. But to Lincoln defeat was a detour and not a dead end.

Let me tell you another story!!  We all love to travel by airplane. But do you know there was a time when the possibility of flying in air without wings was nil. It was even declared worldwide that it is impossible to invent a machine, heavier than air, that would fly. This declaration was taken as a challenge by two young brothers, 'OLIVER WRIGHT' and 'WILBUR WRIGHT', popularly known as 'The Wright Brothers'. A New York Times editorial on December 10,1903, questioned their wisdom. But it was their never give up attitude that one week later, at Kitty Hawk, the Wright Brothers took their famous flight. Although its duration was only 32 minutes, but it was a step towards the clouds.

Electricity is an integral part of our daily lives.
The man who invented electric bulb, who lit up our lives , 'THOMAS ALVA EDISON' , is very well known to us. But how many of us really know about him?
Let's embark on a small journey!!
One day a partially deaf 4 year old child came home with a note in his pocket. He gave it to his mother. The note read,"Your son is a genius. In our school his potential can't be developed. We don't have highly qualified teachers. So better you teach your son at home." Having read this, the mother was full of tears. From then onwards the mother started teaching her son regularly. One day his mother died. Some days later, he got the note from his mother's diary. When he read it, he was completely stunned. It actually said,"Your son is a stupid. He is good for nothing, a complete disaster. Get him out of the school." That day , the note became a turning point in his life. It was this rejection he faced that inspired him to invent electricity. The man whose own life was in darkness invented light for others. He had only 3 months of formal schooling and he was partially deaf. A real 'TORCHBEARER'.

'ALBERT EINSTEIN' the Father of Moden Physics, Nobel Prize winner in physics and chemistry was kicked out of school. He can't speak until the age of 4 and can't read till 7. He was a failure in Mathematics. Who knows he will be the one to give the world the Theory of Relativity.

Do we call these people failures? NO!! The only difference is that every time they failed, they bounced back. This is called failing forward, rather than backwards. You learn and move forward. Learn from your failure and keep going.

Setbacks are inevitable. A setback act as a driving force and also teaches you humility. In grief, you will find courage to overcome it. We need to learn to become winners not victims. We need to turn every stumbling block into a stepping stone.

NEVER EVER GIVE UP. ALL THE BEST TO ALL MY FRIENDS.
THANK YOU ALL!!
HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!

70 Years of INDEPENDENCE....

Greetings to all the readers or should I say HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO ALL  !  I think today no greetings will be more suitable other than this.  Our nation, our motherland, has completed 70 years of, it's independence, it's freedom. It was the dawn of  August 15,1947 when our first prime minister Late Pt. Nehru unfurled the tricolor and addressed the nation with pride and honor. It was this day when our motherland came to life actually.  This milestone was not achieved in one day but took 200 and numerous efforts by our countrymen.  I can imagine, how  difficult it would have been to spend the night of  August 14. I am sure nobody had fallen asleep that night. Every eye was full of new dreams, new desires and new hope. Everyone was full of enthusiasm. They were going to become a  part of that historical moment which will embark a new beginning of our nation on global paths. We have come a long way since then. INDIA  has emerged as one of the supreme power of the world t

Importance of 'MORALS'

Moral values  are the social values which make an individual a complete asset for the nation. All the values such as honesty, respect, dedication, truthfulness, obedience, tolerance, cooperation etc are moral values. Moral values are important for an individual's social, mental, emotional development and in turn important for nation's strength and development. These values serve as the concrete pillars on which a nation stands and grows. Today's generation, on contrary, lack these values. In today's  world of hustle and bustle, everyone is self-centered. A poem by Pablo Neruda named 'keeping Quite' correctly governs the world of today. In this poem, Neruda talks of the necessity of quiet introspection and creating a feeling of mutual understanding among human beings which the world of today is lacking. Also the people are becoming more aggressive and intolerant. No one is ready to offer a helping hand to others. One of the main reasons behind this is the sing
